Do my poster images need to be high resolution?

One of the most common questions we’re asked is whether images need to be high resolution in order to print properly on a poster. High-res is ideal, but we find that smart phone photos produce quality poster printing in up to A1 size – so there’s no need to rush out and buy a fancy camera!  

We do, however, advise you not to drag and upload images from websites or social media onto your poster design, as these tend to be too low resolution.
